Bishop Michael and the staff of the Diocesan Office were delighted to welcome Bishop Charles Hammawa and priests from the Diocese of Jalingo, Nigeria.

The Diocese of Clonfert has enjoyed a longstanding and valued relationship with the Diocese of Jalingo for many years. This visit offered a special opportunity to celebrate the bonds of faith, friendship and fellowship that have grown between our two dioceses.

It was also a time to give thanks for all that has been shared over the years and to renew our commitment to strengthening and developing these important links in the years ahead.

We pray that this friendship will continue to flourish and bear abundant fruit for the people and clergy of both dioceses.
