It is the mission of the Safeguarding Office to help develop a culture in which children, young people, and vulnerable adults are welcomed, respected, and protected in every part of Church life.

We work to ensure that the highest standards of care, safety, and accountability are upheld across the Dioceses of Clonfert, and of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora. Our aim is to support parishes and Church communities in creating environments where everyone can grow in faith with confidence and security.
