This week, across the Dioceses, the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in many parishes. It is a time of great grace for parish communities as young people come forward to be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.
We pray for God’s blessing upon all those preparing to receive this sacrament. May the Holy Spirit strengthen them with wisdom, courage, and faith, guiding them as disciples of Christ in the world.
We also remember their families, sponsors, teachers, and parish communities who have accompanied them along the way. May the Lord reward their care and witness.
