The annual pre-Christmas gathering for retired clergy from both dioceses was held recently. The day began with the celebration of the Eucharist, followed by a festive lunch and a time for the sharing of memories and conversation.
This gathering enables the dioceses to acknowledge long and faithful service and to sustain the bonds formed through many years of ministry. The presence of retired clergy is regarded with genuine appreciation after many years of service, and their continuing interest and prayer remain important to the life of the dioceses.
