Bishop Michael has asked the people of the Dioceses of Clonfert, Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora to remember Pope Leo XIV in their prayers as he faces surgery.
Bishop Michael invites parishioners across the dioceses to pray for the Holy Father, asking God to guide those caring for him and to grant him a full and speedy recovery.
At this time, we also remember in our prayers all those who are sick, those awaiting surgery or undergoing treatment, and the families and healthcare professionals who care for them.
May Our Lady, Consoler of the Afflicted, watch over Pope Leo and all who are suffering through illness.
