Earlier this week, people from all parts of the Diocese of Clonfert came together for a joyful Saint John Paul II Presentation Evening, celebrating the remarkable contributions of young people and those who support them. The event highlighted the commitment of participants, families, volunteers and educators engaged in living Gospel-centred service through the Pope John Paul II Award programme.
Bishop Michael affirmed all present for their dedicated involvement over the years, giving special thanks to Ms Mary Keegan Hynes, clergy and the Diocesan Office team, school staff, award leaders and everyone who worked with the young students to deepen their faith and service.
The Pope John Paul II Award encourages young people to engage actively in parish and community life, to grow in faith and to serve others with generosity and love.
The Diocese rejoices in this occasion of celebration and looks forward with gratitude to the continued faith witness of its young people and their mentors.
